"In medio acquae", which means "In the middle of the water" in Latin, the Medoc region stretches from the north of the estuary of the Gironde to the limit of Bordeaux . The beaches of the Atlantic and the forests of the moors border this tongue of land to the west and the south. The vineyard rests on gravels and silica which reflect the heat stored during the day and which restitute it at night. The wines are sometimes very tannic, marked by their terroir, sometimes supple and fine, marked by their grape varieties and vinification. It is the region with the largest number of Crus classified in 1855.   You will find on our site, a nice selection, from the simplest to the most complex and more silky of the wines that counts the Medoc region .
