The wine-growing region of the Entre-deux-Mers , between Garonne and Dordogne rivers, is subject to the maritime influence of the Atlantic Ocean and its tides. It produces red, white and pink wines. Only dry white wines can bear the name of Entre-deux-Mers . Among them are the Bordeaux and Bordeaux superiors, the Graves de Vayres (appellation in full development, not to be confused with the wines of Graves, located on the left bank of the Garonne), the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, Than the sweet wines of Cadillac and Sainte-Croix-du-Mont. In all no less than 10 appellations of origin controlled that really deserve the detour for the typicity and their good value for money. Its main grape varieties are Merlot for red wines and Sauvignon for white wines. The Entre-deux-Mers Region produces Red wines, dry or sweet White wines and Pink wines.
