Domaine Claire is a family property located in Demigny in Burgunbdy, between Beaune and Chalon, in north of the Côte Chalonnaise. This small farm is run by Jean Claude Claire for twenty years. Wines are produced in the purest Burgundian tradition: Winemaking tank, then aged in French oak barrels for at least 9 months.

The Domaine Claire produces a total of five different wines of Burgundy or Saône et Loire appellation.
The Domaine Claire produces a white wine Aligoté, a white wine Chardonnay and a red wine Pinot Noir. These are very affordable wines and doing very well. Fresh, typical of their variety, with a good balance. The careful work of the vine, but also the control of wines steps by Jean Claude Claire enable real regularity over the years. Very good years in difficult climate, really great in great years.

The Domaine Claire has also lots of Chardonnay in the village of Rully, in a place called "La Crée" and a parcel planted with Pinot Noir outskirts of Pommard.
Rully Blanc is a dry, fruity wine with good acidity that is perfect as an aperitif or apetizers. It is also a fresh and mineral wine, which might remind some Chablis, or Saint Veran.

Bourgogne Pinot Noir from the Domaine Claire is marked by a beautiful clay and limestone soil in which it draws its strength. Good material, well extracted, but is supple tannins gain to melt under 2 years after bottling.
