This box includes two bottles of 75 cl:
- Château Dimacy 2011 - Saint Emilion
This Saint-Emilion of a beautiful garnet color, limpid, develops notes of red fruits and spices. In the mouth, it is lively and round, of a beautiful length without break. A beautiful approach to this sumptuous appellation.
This wine still needs to wait, but its structure, without artifice, already allows it to be consumed with pleasure. This is especially true in accompanying spicy dishes such as a Colombo or a Cary of pork or lamb.
- Château Dimacy 2011 - Saint Emilion Grand Cru
This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is very colorful, dark and velvety. The fruity and spicy notes are already slightly undergrowth. The vanilla brought by the aging in oak barrels are well controlled and do not crush the beautiful matter of this wine. A great wine in the making, complex, to leave in cellar. Patience therefore, at least 3 years.
The Pestoury family is a fourth-generation winemaker. Since 2004, the Château Dimacy has been offering two types of Saint-Emilion: Saint-Emilion and Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wines. The vines are planted on the communes of Saint-Laurent des Combes and Saint-Hyppolite. It is a few minutes from the town of Saint-Emilion, world famous site, that is the winemaking cellar, in the town of Saint-Hyppolite.
This discovery box is a superb gift idea to offer wine to lovers of Saint Emilion for a tasting of balanced wines, typical of their appellation.
