This box includes two bottles of 75 cl:
- Raso de Larrainzar 2010 - Navarra
The Raso de Larrainzar 2010 is a wine from medium-sized vines, whose grapes are harvested in the second half of October depending on the maturity of the different grape varieties. Using the same vinification methods as the great châteaux of the Bordeaux region, the bodegas Pago de Larrainzar, vinifies and raises each harvest by grape variety and per plot. After vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the wines are raised 12 months minimum in French oak barrels (35% new barrels) before being selected and then assembled to become this Raso de Larrainzar cuvée.
- Pago de Larrainzar 2009 - Reserva Especial
The Pago de Larrainzar 2009 is a wine from a selection of the best grapes harvested by hand, from the end of September to the end of October according to the grape varieties. Using the same vinification methods as the great châteaux of the Bordeaux region, the bodegas Pago de Larrainzar, vinifies and raises each harvest by grape variety and per plot. The wines are thus brought up to 18 months in French oak barrels (28% new barrels) before being selected and then assembled to become this special cuvee Pago de Larrainzar.
Located in the region of Navarra, in the south of Navarra, very close to the Rioja, the vineyard of the Bodegas Pago de Larrainzar is planted on a limestone soil perfectly adapted to the production of great wines. The Larrainzar family, wishing to obtain high-quality wines, decided to plant grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in addition to the traditional grape varieties Tempranillo and Garnacha (Grenache N).
